May the heart, mind and soul work as one
16"x20” acrylic painting done on a stretched canvas. On one of the first nice weather days of the year, I went hammocking in the woods where I noticed a group a trees that looked like there were eyes all over it just watching and protecting, I then pulled out my sketchbook and began doodling eyes away, and once I had finished with my mess of a doodle I realized that the shape of the whole sketch looked like a real heart and I had drawn some doodley lines that resembled the curves and crevices in the brain, and I was struck, meshing the brain, heart and eyes seeing as we aim to have our Mind Body and Soul work as one, United. And that’s what I wanted to show here, and hope that whoever gets to look at this every day is reminded every day to take whatever they need to work as one, United unit.
