Solar Boom
36”x24” acrylic painting done a stretched canvas. Varnished. I started this painting back when we saw Northern Lights in southeast Michigan. I couldn’t believe I could see them despite the city lights. I still remember looking up and seeing this pink glow in the sky that turned into white beams, then boom, bright teal colors started dancing in the night sky. I felt this intense surge of energy overcome my mind and body. That whole night I felt an energy I have never felt before, I couldn’t stop smiling, I danced the night away. It was like all the worries in the world vanished for that moment. We all came in union to witness this phenomenon, we were all truly one.
