Dark Meets Beauty
16"x20" acrylic painting and acrylic impasto medium done on a stretched canvas. This piece is of much importance to me because I have been playing around and exploring the concept of the “Dark Feminine” the past few months, learning what it means, how to ignite my dark feminine side without tarnishing my light. I wanted to embody someone who has mastered the balance of light and dark. I painted a body of dark tones, black, blues and purples but when the face comes off pure beauty and light burst from her.
