16"x20" acrylic painting done on a stretched canvas. This past spring I created this piece with the intention of the irony of literally painting your brain when that’s always what we do when we paint and to show the crazy mess of adhd that lives in my brain. However, a few months ago I accidentally spilt gesso all over it, “ruining" it which was extremely discouraging until I realized that that I didn’t ruin it at all, I was given an opportunity to make it even better. So I deepened the colors, made cooler marks and made an all black background instead making the colors seem even more vibrant. I’m very happy with the final piece.
